Easter 2A

  • Acts 2.14a,22-32
  • 1 Peter 1.3-9
  • John 20.19-31

Thomas doubted. Three cheers for Thomas. He’s a breath of fresh air. He’s honest, forthright, and perceptive. He was with Jesus when they heard that Lazarus has died. It’s Thomas who says to the others, “Let’s go with Jesus to Bethany.” But crucially, he knows what is likely to meet them all there, because he says, “Let’s go and die with Jesus.”
