Just a few years ago, Ismail Khatib watched as his 12-year-old son Ahmad was lowered into a grave in the West Bank city of Jenin. Ahmad was shot by Israeli soldiers several days before as he played in a street with a toy rifle at the entrance to Jenin refugee camp.
